New Retail Space Opening Weds., Dec. 11!

This coming Wednesday—December 11—will be an exciting day at Hill Farmstead Brewery. Our retail shop will open its doors at 12 p.m. in a new, bigger, brighter space! Those of you who have visited us in the last few months have seen the progress and have, in the last few weeks, walked through part of that new space.

We will also be releasing Port Barrel Damon that day. There is virtually no chance of running out of Port Barrel Damon on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or even Saturday. We have a really nice number of bottles for you, so don’t feel like you might miss out if you can’t be here Weds.

In that spirit, we’d love to consider Wednesday sort of a “soft opening” for that space, so that we can get the bugs worked out and have the best experience possible for everyone.

In other words, friends: be gentle, pace yourselves, don’t worry.

Thanksgiving Week Hours

Hi all,

  • Open Weds. 12-5 as normal
  • Closed Thursday for Thanksgiving
  • Open Friday and Saturday 12-5 as normal.

Just a head's up on road conditions:

Paved roads seem generally just wet and occasionally slushy around the area. The back roads are a little slick, but the local crews are out with sand.

So, if you're coming to visit us today, take your time and drive carefully.

Check for complete listing of what's on tap and on the shelf.

Hill Farmstead + Parker Pie = Awesome

Join us November 16, 6 p.m., at Parker Pie Co. in West Glover, VT

Hill Farmstead Brewery settles in for an amazing evening with our friends at Parker Pie. A little fresh, a little vintage—a lot of reasons to find your way to West Glover, VT!

Tentative Taplist:

Twilight of the Idols

Grassroots Brewing Autumn Saison

Birth of Tragedy 2013!

Grassroots Sankt Hans

Siren Brewing/Hill Farmstead/Mikkeller Limoncello DIPA

And the VT debut of Brasserie de Blaugies/Hill Farmstead La Vermontoise on draft!

Tastings Are Back!

We're able to offering tasting flights again in the retail shop. Thanks for your patience as we continue to progress through construction!

Retail Entrance Back to Normal (Almost)

Just a head's up that the entry into the retail is back outside the overhang, and there are signs and rope to guide you around. Tastings are still suspended for today, but we are planning on offering tastings tomorrow during normal retail hours out under the tent and around the pavillion. We won't be doing tastings in line, though.

Cheers and thanks!

Temporary Retail Entrance Update

While construction on the eastern side of the brewery continues, we will have a temporary retail entrance in place. You'll enter in the highlighted part of the picture, under the overhang and continue through to the normal retail entry door.

Retail hours remain Wednesday through Saturday, 12 - 5 p.m. Aside from suspending tastings, all other retail operations will continue (growler fills, bottle sales, etc.).

Parking will be in the outer parking areas just before the brewery and across from the brewery, as well as a few spaces in the brewery parking lot. If there is a need for more parking, we will have folks park down in the event parking in the field, just west of the brewery. Please do not park along the edge of the road, or block the front of the brewery, as heavy equipment will be rolling around regularly.

Thanks to everyone for their patience while progress continues!
