Dark Farmstead® Ale Aged on Coffee and Cocoa Nibs
This dark Farmstead® ale—which honors Edward’s sister—is crafted from American malted barley, German roasted malts, European hops, our farmhouse yeast, and water from our well. This selection was aged in a wine barrel for nearly a year, but this one was conditioned atop cocoa nibs from Peru, sourced and roasted by Mateo at Prophecy Chocolate in nearby Hardwick, Vt., and Monte Grande coffee from Cajamarca, Peru, sourced and roasted by The Coffee Collective.
