Frequently Asked Questions
Order pick-ups will take place in the main brewery bottle shop. Please park in the designated parking areas.
When will my pickup order be ready?
Pickups take place Wednesday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Your order will be available on those days within the open window. While the online order system notes "ready in 15 minutes," we pick your order when you arrive, so there is no specific pick-up time assigned, nor any need to rush to be here for opening.
Do I have to place an order online or can I just pick out my cans and bottles when I arrive?
We strongly encourage that all orders are placed in advance through our online shop; this guarantees that the beer you are purchasing will be held for your scheduled pick-up, and that we will not sell out of that particular offering before your arrival. If you have not placed an order in advance, however, we can accommodate day-of orders onsite, subject to availability. Please bring a credit card for payment as we do not currently accept cash.
Can my friend pick up my order?
We are not allowing proxies at this time, all orders placed online must match the valid ID of the person picking up the order.
What if I don’t pick up my order by the end of the day?
If unable to pick-up your order the day for which it was placed, we will cancel your order and refund your payment in full. We are not able to hold orders over the weekend for a pick-up the next week.
Can I return/swap my growlers?
Although we do not accept growlers for return, we are able to re-fill and re-use your empty, clean growlers with certain limited offerings of beers.
Please see our Retail Shop page for the current availability of beer for our growler fills.
Should I bring a cooler for my pick-up? Are the beers stored cold?
All of our canned beer is packaged and stored cold, and should be kept cold at all times. Thus, a cooler and ice is advisable if you are traveling a significant distance home.
All of our bottled beers are bottle conditioned and are stored at room temperature. These beers should not get hot, but they do not need to be chilled until you are ready to enjoy them.
Can I add to an order I've already placed?
Once an order has been submitted, it cannot be edited. However, you are welcome to place a second order under the same name. We are happy to combine your orders.
Are masks required?
We do require that all guests and staff—both in our bottle shop and in our taproom—mask up while inside our facility, except while seated and drinking in our taproom, regardless of vaccination status. If possible, please bring a suitable mask; we will provide disposable masks at each entry should you forget to bring one. No masks are required while outside. Given the evolving COVID-19 circumstances, and the rising cases in Vermont, this simple, reasonable policy will help create a safe and comfortable space for our staff and our guests.
