Leaves of Grass: March 2, 2017
Farmstead® Ale Brewed with Meyer Lemons and Aged in Wine Barrels
Leaves of Grass represents our brewery’s collective pursuit to create, explore and challenge. For each batch, we employ uniquely different processes and ingredients, all of which further our understanding of the art and science of brewing.
This entry in the series was brewed nearly a year ago with barley, wheat, oats and both juice and zest of Meyer lemons. It was fermented and aged in wine barrels, then allowed to bottle condition for several months. Inspired by Farmer Wave, this beer was brewed during our Farmer Wave sessions with Matt Dinges as a prototype for future excursions.
