Old Ale Aged in Oak Barrels

Peleg Hill Jr. (1757-1831) was our great, great, great, great grandfather and one of Greensboro’s original inhabitants. In his honor, this version of our old ale was naturally cooled and open fermented in our outdoor fermenter. While conditioning in third fill bourbon barrels for 12 months, it was able to leisurely develop its complex, unique flavors and express both the character of its environs and its history.
