Cellar Person/ Production Member
Hill Farmstead Brewery seeks a talented Brewer who is ready to dive into a collaborative opportunity in Greensboro, Vermont. This position includes joining our production team, executing beer transfers and packaging, and vigilantly ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our facility while also demanding deep knowledge and teamwork across all areas of our production environment.
Applicants must possess an excellent palate for tasting and quality control technical prowess; the ability to keep records, clearly communicate, and follow instructions, checklists, and schedules; and a propensity to act as an efficient, positively contributing member of our production team. You will also work closely with company leaders and the hospitality team to implement the company’s vision, values, and dedication to producing superlative beverages.
This position is responsible for contributing to all functions and activities related to beer production post-fermentation.
The position includes two weeks of paid vacation, additional prorated personal time off, paid holidays, overtime, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes (and is not limited to) health insurance and retirement savings.

- Have at least two years of professional cellar experience.

Salary will reflect alignment with ideal qualifications and allow room for growth, according to the rate of application and acceleration into the integration of their role.
Starting salary ranges from $52,000 - $58,000, based on direct cellar experience, education, previous job responsibilities, and demonstrated acumen in brewery operations and mechanical aptitude.

Summer Season - Hospitality Team Member
Hill Farmstead is seeking a seasonal server to join our retail team in Greensboro Bend! You will welcome and engage with visitors, sharing our innovations, inspirations, and sense of place to ensure an outstanding guest experience. A true extrovert, you must be motivated, joyful, and thriving in teamwork! This position involves retail service in the taproom and bottle shop and special events, pouring draft beer and bottles, operating point-of-sale systems, and adhering to daily maintenance checklists. You will demonstrate strong craft beer knowledge, participate in an efficient, positive team, and ensure an exceptional guest environment.
Ideal Qualifications include:
- At least 21 years of age, with a high school diploma or GED
- 2+ Years Experience working in hospitality
- Knowledge of craft beer and familiarity with a variety of styles
- Highly communicative, motivated, and team-oriented
- Attentive to detail with an ability to multitask
Essential Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Establishing a high level of team rapport with existing and new team members.
- Presence in daily meditation and vocal engagement in huddle discussions.
- Properly pouring draft and bottled beer, selecting proper glassware, and using sensory descriptions to enhance the guest experience.
- Gaining and maintaining deep knowledge of our beers.
- Carefully fulfill orders and operate POS in the Bottle Shop and Taproom.
- Bussing and washing glassware, restocking bottles and cans, and assisting wherever needed during service.
- Contributing to opening and closing checklists for retail service.
- Cleaning and maintaining all service areas
- Working Tuesday-Saturday, 9 am-6 pm, rotationally until 7 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and rotational Sunday shifts with occasional flexibility.
