Dorothy: Barrel-Aged (Northern Hemisphere)
Farmstead® Dry-Hopped Ale Aged in Wine Barrels
To honor Dorothy, Edward’s sister, we have aged her namesake dry-hopped Farmstead® Pale Ale in wine barrels for more than 10 months, then divided the batch, so that each might be adorned with distinctly different hops. These compositions are intended to highlight the characteristics of hops grown in two different hemispheres. The Southern Hemisphere expression features Motueka™, Nelson Sauvin, and Riwaka; the Northern Hemisphere variant showcases Citra®, Amarillo®, and HBC 586.
