Three Penny Taproom was our first draft account in 2010. On the occasion of their anniversary in 2013, we brewed a single batch of this hoppy spring ale. To mark what has been a monumental winter in the Northeast Kingdom and their auspicious tenth anniversary, we offer this Song of Spring in celebration.

The 2022 edition is reborn as a hoppy pale lager brewed with Motueka™ hops from Freestyle Farms, our agricultural partner in Upper Moutere, New Zealand; Cascade, grown by nearby Whitefield Hop Yards in Hardwick; and Crystal, grown by Champlain Valley Hops in Starksboro, Vt.

The 2023 edition returns as an IPA brewed with malted wheat and hopped with Mosaic; Centennial; Cascade, grown by nearby Whitefield Hop Yards in Hardwick; and hand-selected Simcoe®.

For 2024, this edition features Vermont-grown Nugget and Cascade from Champlain Valley Hops, as well as Riwaka, Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, and Strata.

For 2025, this edition features flaked oats and organic wheat Vermont-grown Centennial from Champlain Valley Hops, as well as Citra®, Simcoe®, Amarillo®, Motueka, and Strata.

The 2026 edition features flaked oats and organic wheat Vermont-grown Centennial from Whitefield Hopyard in East Hardwick, as well as a blend of New Zealand hops.
