Anniversary Week 2019
As our anniversary week approaches, we would like to announce a few items and remind everyone of what’s ahead…
We will release two beers this coming week:
Vera Mae 2018
Vera Mae (1889-1975) was our grandfather’s eldest sister; Hill Farmstead Brewery rests upon the land that was once home to her and her 13 siblings. In her honor, this Farmstead® ale is crafted from American malted barley; Vermont organic spelt; organic buckwheat; organic wheat; hops; Vermont wildflower honey; dandelion flowers from our fields; our farmhouse yeast; and water from our well. This is the 2018 batch of our Farmstead® spring blossom ale, aged in wine barrels.
We hope to be able to start picking dandelions for the 2019 batch, so stay tuned for sign-ups and information!
Juicy – 375ml
Juicy is inspired by our love for New Zealand—the adventures had therein, and the journeys grown from without. Our love for the landscape, the agriculture, and the spirited reflection of its inhabitants more than 15 years ago have led to the vision of what lies before you. After 10 months of conditioning in wine barrels with our resident microflora, the beer that we have referred to as Juicy is now ready to be enjoyed.
Throughout the week, we’ll have our retail shop stocked up with a variety of cans, lots of bottles, and some vintage offerings. Stay tuned to Instagram and Facebook for daily updates.
On Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, we’ll offer special onsite only offerings on draft and in bottles. For Saturday, anticipating a larger turnout, we will offer a limited onsite menu to expedite service.
Caja Madera will be on site throughout the entire week serving up tacos and more.
