On Weds., May 29, we will release a new Flora variant, this one with raspberries and elderberries, and we will also begin planning for this year’s dandelion harvest for Vera Mae.

Flora: Raspberry/Elderberry

Flora is the wine barrel-aged version of Florence, our grandfather’s sister as well as the name of our Farmstead® wheat ale. We selected a single barrel of Flora and aged it atop fresh raspberries from nearby Elmore Roots Nursery and elderberries from our next door neighbors at Thornhill Farm. Bright, ruby raspberry and crisp, drying elderberries balance with Flora’s singular elegance to epitomize the elements from which it was shaped. Native elderberries have long been revered for their holistic, health benefits.
