New Beer for 18 September 2019

We will offer two new draft beers in our taproom beginning Weds., 18 Sept. in the spirit of the fall’s approach:
Fresh Hop IPA: Columbus 2019
Continuing our locally sourced hop harvest projects, we dry hopped this India Pale Ale with an enormous amount of freshly harvested, kiln-dried, whole leaf Columbus hop cones from our friends at nearby Whitefield Hop Yard in Hardwick, VT. This will be available for onsite enjoyment as well as to-go in 750ml and 2L growlers. 6.2% abv
Autumna (2019)
Next in our exploration of wood-conditioned lagers is a special release to celebrate the changing of seasons: Autumna. This step-mashed, Old World German-Style Helles Fest Lager was constructed with a base of German Weyermann malt, German Perle and Mittelfrรผh hops, and conditioned in wooden barrels at 3ยบ C for two months.ย This lightly hopped, pale lager is gently carbonated with krausen and best enjoyed fresh. ย We will have this available for 35cl onsite mug pours, as well as to-go growler filles (2L only!). ย 4.6% abv
