Biere de Norma 2018

In honor of Shaun’s maternal grandmother, we craft a bière de mars and condition it in oak barrels with our resident microflora. This release spent nearly a year in barrels and was packaged in late 2018; we have closely monitored its progress, allowing it intentional and extended bottle conditioning to achieve its optimal expression—a hallmark and signature of our evolving and refined process pursuits. It is now ready for release and enjoyment.

In Shaun’s words: “Norma (1939 – 2011) was my maternal grandmother, my Guardian Angel, and the woman that nourished the laughter and innocence of my youth. We realize the influence of those closest to us only after having left their presence. At Hill Farmstead, our spirit is forever defined by Norma and the memory of our loved ones.”

We will also release this year’s batch of our Biere de Mars, an amber Farmstead® AleFarmstead® AleThese foundational beers showcase our quest for elegant tartness, vibrant carbonation and delicate finish, and, in our opinion, represent the common ground between an “old world” and a “new world” saison: Farmstead® Ales. Because these beers continue to evolve over the course of 3 or 4 years, we have gone to great lengths to condition...Learn More brewed in celebration of spring. This will be available on draft in our taproom for onsite enjoyment as well as to-go in 750ml growlers only.

Friendships and Explorations Festival Tickets

Reminder that physical event tickets go on sale here at the brewery retail shop Wednesday, 4 March, through Saturday, 7 March, during regular retail hours (12-5 p.m.). Tickets are transferrable; limit 2 tickets per person in total.

We will also offer tickets for sale online, via Universe, using a lottery-style system like previous events. Registration for online tickets will begin Sunday, 8 March, and run through Sunday, 15 March.
