Hill Farmstead Retail Update for 3 August 2022

Nonconformist 05 • Refreshed Can Offerings • Growler and Taproom Updates

We will debut a new entry to our exploratory series of Farmstead® ales, Nonconformist 05; have on offer freshly packaged cans and growlers of Harlan, Marie, and Society & Solitude #4; and continue with our playful, inspired bottle and vintage draft offerings for reservation holders and refreshing draft offerings for walk-ins guests.

Nonconformist 05

The next in our exploratory series, Nonconformist 05, debuts this coming week. This whimsical Farmstead® ale was brewed with malted barley, Munich malt, and organically grown malted wheat and hopped with hand-selected Mosaic® hops from the Pacific Northwest. Following a year in oak barrels, it was then aged atop organic wild blueberries from Merrill Blueberry Farms in Hancock, Maine and then dry-hopped with Mosaic. Finally, after allowing for more than 15 months of bottle conditioning, it is now ready to share with you.

This series provides us a playful opportunity to share a wide-ranging assortment of blended beers, exploratory aging techniques, and distinctive ingredient pairings, with imaginative artwork by our lifelong friend and collaborator, Alex Peltz of Peltz Creative.

Our bottle selection will feature Bourbon Barrel-Aged Viola Sofia; Blueberry; 2020 Harvest; Barrel-Aged Table Dorothy; Charlie; and special guest offerings.

Cans

Three canned offerings return this week in the retail shop coolers: Harlan, Marie, and Society & Solitude #4!

Harlan is our American IPA dry-hopped with Columbus, personally selected Nelson Sauvin, and organic, hand-selected Simcoe® hops. This arrival of Marie, our German-style Helles, is once again brewed entirely with organic malted barley, and Society & Solitude #4 features Galaxy hops and hand-selected organic Citra® hops.

Our can coolers will also be stocked with…

  • Of First & Last Things, IPA with Motueka™, Nelson Sauvin, and Simcoe®
  • Double Nelson, Double IPA hopped exclusively with hand-selected Nelson Sauvin hops from our agricultural partner, Freestyle Farms in Upper Moutere, New Zealand
