Holger Danske • George • Wreath Sale • Saturday Hours
Here are a few additional updates for guests visiting us for the week ahead! Our smoked brown ale, Holger Danske, returns after a five-year hiatus for growlers and onsite enjoyment; our classic brown ale, George, will be available in cans, alongside Abner and Citra Single Hop IPA; Green Mountain Monastery will offer Christmas wreaths for sale on Saturday near our taproom; and also on Saturday, we will be closing our taproom and retail shop promptly at 5 p.m. so that our team may gather for our annual staff holiday party!
Holger Danske
It’s been over five years since we last shared this unique offering. First brewed in collaboration with our great friend and mentor Anders Kissmeyer in 2010, we offer this robust, malty, smoked brown ale in the spirit of that first brewday and featuring malts hand-smoked onsite. Holger Danske is a legendary Danish hero, one of Charlemagne’s knights in the Chanson de Roland and an inspiration for Denmark’s World War II resistance group.

Wreath Sale
Our neighbors, Green Mountain Monastery & Thomas Berry Sanctuary, will offer hand-harvested Christmas wreaths for sale by donation on Saturday of this week.
