The coming week of 5-7 August, we will release a new edition in our Self-Reliance series, a new batch of Nordic Saison, as well as new cans of Citra® Single Hop Pale Ale, Society & Solitude #6, and Marie.

Nordic Saison

In May of 2014, our friend and mentor Anders Kissmeyer of Kissmeyer Beer & Brewing visited Hill Farmstead Brewery, along with our dear friend Will Meyers of Cambridge Brewing Co., to brew a special collaborative Nordic-inspired Farmstead® ale with rose hips, heather flowers, rhubarb, honey, and wheat. Inspired by our guests and their journeys, we continue to brew this beer with the resourcefulness and inventiveness of the Nordic tradition, as well as the creative spirit of its three architects. This particular batch was brewed in the spring of 2019 and has conditioned for just over a year before release.

Self-Reliance: Czech Saaz

Ralph Waldo Emerson’s essay “Self-Reliance,” as does all of his writing, continues to inspire and compel us to engage in the perennial introspection, which is to reflect, examine, and refine. This release, the only 375ml packaging in the series, was brewed in April of 2018; generously hopped with Saaz sourced from the Czech Republic; aged in oak puncheons for four months prior to bottling; and has been intentionally bottle conditioned until reaching its peak expression. Please consume within six months for best experience.

Travel

In addition to existing travel guidelines, a mandate for mask usage comes into effect 1 August 2020.
