Wrapping Up 2023
As we usher in 2024, we are sincerely grateful for your ongoing support and encouragement. This year has certainly presented its share of challenges—even natural disasters—but has strongly reaffirmed the essential value of community and collaboration. 2023 has been a continued internal and external pursuit of our mission and vision in parallel with team and personal development.
We hosted another community-wide conversation with Senator Peter Welch with local leaders and community members; we partnered with our local community in widespread flood recovery efforts; and we shared our space with a number of friends and colleagues with an eye towards our 15th Anniversary in 2025.
Throughout the course of the year, we were able to donate over 15% of our net income, plus guest donations, to local and regional charities. The list of worthy organizations in 2023 includes The Civic Standard; Vermont Community Fund; NOFA Farm Emergency Fund; Child Haven International; Craftsbury Saplings; Riverside Farm; Outright Vermont; Capstone Community Action; Friends of Bonobos; Circus Smirkus; Bread & Puppet Theater; Old Stone House Museum; Hardwick Food Shelf; Woodbury/Calais Food Shelf; Albany Neighbor’s Food Share; Orleans Community Food Shelf; Sheffield Food Pantry; AWARE; Umbrella; and Outright Vermont.
We look forward to hosting intimate seated events in the near future as a way to more fully share the journey and story of these exemplary offerings in the place of their genesis. The patience of our efforts in barrel-aging and bottle conditioning has gifted us with a number of memorable offerings that we look forward to sharing with you throughout the year, including the continuation of revelatory Civil Disobedience blends; new emergences of Ann, Art, and Flora; the debut of Double Honey Ann; and our presentation of the cooperative blend created at 3 Fonteinen.
We wish you peace and solace in the year ahead, and we look forward to seeing many of you soon.
