Bottle Updates for Harvest Festival Week 2025

Fifteenth Anniversary Civil Disobedience • The Order of Things 05 • Dry-Hopped Mary

We will offer three new bottles for the upcoming week, beginning on Wed., 10 Sept.

Fifteenth Anniversary Civil Disobedience

As we follow each barrel—gauging various trajectories and arcs—some barrels become their namesake’s peak expression; others terminate in observable failure; and a third barrel category seeks accompaniment within a sympathetic chorus and undertakes a secondary journey of integration and co-development.

This special anniversary edition of our blended barrel-aged Farmstead® ale collection spans more than four years and is comprised of wine barrel-aged Arthur and Florence from Spring of 2021, Arthur from late Autumn 2022, and Sankt Hans from Autumn of 2021.

Following more than two years of careful observation in the bottle, we anticipate this blend will continue its evolution along a gainful trajectory for the next 5 (or more) years; its current manifestation displays a delightful balance of integrated acidity, texture, and weight.

The Order of Things 05

This entry in our blended double-barrel aged series is composed of two threads:  A portion of our cherished imperial stout, Damon, rested for 24 months in Bourbon barrels and then spent 18 additional months divided between Bourbon barrels from two different distilleries; this was then blended with an imperial stout aged for 14 months in a Privateer Rum barrel. The curated blend was then conditioned atop a blend of vanilla beans from Ecuador, Tahiti, and Uganda.

Bottle Conditioned  Mary (Dry-Hopped)

In honor of Edward’s mother, we brew this unfiltered and naturally carbonated German-style Pilsner with our well water, malted barley, our favorite German hops, and classic German lager yeast. This edition received a subtle additional dry hopping with German Hersbrucker, and has been bottle-conditioned in 500ml bottles for natural carbonation.
