Retail Shop Announcements for 14 July 2021
For the coming week, we will retire our curbside operations for a time and reopen our retail shop to inside sales. This will be the first time in 15 months that we will welcome guests back to the retail shop, and given the current size of our team, this will be a trial run to evaluate the ongoing viability of a more familiar retail structure.
Beginning this Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, we will open up day-of advanced ordering via our Toast website toasttab.com/hillfarmstead at 5:00 a.m. each day until 4:30 p.m. for pick-ups inside the Bottle Shop from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
We hope to maintain as enjoyable and safe an experience as possible for our staff and guests, so we ask that everyone wear a mask while inside the shop, regardless of vaccination status.
As part of that reopening, we will release a unique variant of Damon, our imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels. We selected three barrels that had aged for nearly two years and conditioned them further atop cocoa nibs from Hacienda Azul in Costa Rica, sourced, roasted, and winnowed by the best bean to bar chocolate company we know: Dandelion Chocolate in San Francisco, Calif. These will be offered at a limit of 2 bottles per person.
We will also have freshly canned offerings:
- Edward – Our American pale ale, this batch featuring organic base malts
- Conduct of Life – An American Pale Ale brewed with Amarillo® and Citra® hops.
- Society & Solitude #6 – Imperial IPA brewed almost exclusively with hand-selected Mosaic® hops from the Pacific Northwest.
A reminder that our taproom is by reservation only, and seatings for this coming week’s onsite sessions have filled up. We are unable to offer a waiting list; if there are cancellations, those reservations will automatically be made available via the Tock service, so check back there occasionally for possible openings.
