Retail Update for 2 December 2023

Anna: Puncheon • Difference & Repetition: Hallertau Blanc/Simcoe® • Song of Winter  • Pie Empire Pop-Up

Making its debut will be a puncheon expression of Anna, our honey Farmstead® ale, as well as freshly packaged cans and draft of Difference & Repetition: Hallertau Blanc/Simcoe® and Song of Winter, after a long hiatus for each.

We will also have cans of Susan, Of First & Last Things, Excursions: HBC 586/Phantasm, Double Motueka, George, Twilight of the Idols, and Marie.

Anna: Puncheon

To honor Edward’s sister, this version of our honey Farmstead® ale—crafted from organic American malted barley, European and American hops, Vermont wildflower honey, and our distinctive farmhouse yeast—aged for ten months in our puncheons—more than Anna, not quite Ann, but enchanting all the same. After patiently observing its arc of development, we present you with a distinct expression of Anna.

Song of Winter

With the spirit of the North and our own deeply founded habitation, we offer to you this Song of Winter: a rich Chocolate Stout brewed with an abundant addition of fresh cacao nibs sourced and roasted by Colombia’s Tibito Chocolate and imported by Maine’s In situ Food Co. In Situ’s ideology and vision stand apart from the typical Western Economic Ethos: shifting from a model of extraction of raw resources to one of adding value within countries of origin, empowering communities to build wealth, and protecting their environment.

Our bottle shop will also feature Anna, Arthur, Arthur: Cascade, Charlie, Clara, Florence, Table Dorothy, Nonconformist 09, Self-Reliance: Motueka, Wheat Blanc, and Once Upon a Time in Denmark: Breakfast Stout and Southward, available individually.
