Nonconformist 13

Each release in this exploratory series offers a momentary glimpse into what might be, guided by curiosity and constraint alike. For the thirteenth installment, we’ve composed a union of barrel-aged Arthur and Sankt Hans, each having rested for 15 months in oak. The beer was then conditioned on plums and raspberries grown at nearby Elmore Roots. The result is a vivid expression of season and soil, a confluence of brightness and depth, fruit and fermentation. As always, the label features the imaginative work of our longtime friend and collaborator, Alex Peltz of Peltz Creative.

Resonance

In October 2019, Shaun Hill joined Michaël Blancquaert in the cellars of Brouwerij 3 Fonteinen to gather together threads of a celebratory assemblage. Brought to culmination through a deeply held sense of mutual admiration, shared respect, and the singular pursuit of an ideal—a living tribute to Armand Debelder, whose balanced, harmonious blends imbued upon Shaun a formative sense memory.

This blend is comprised of 3 Fonteinen three-year lambic, Lindeman’s two-year lambic, Boon three-year lambic, and young 3 Fonteinen lambic.

Convivial Suarez

Our Farmstead® ale, brewed with hibiscus and fresh lemon peel and juice, was inspired by our 2012 collaboration with Dany Prignon at Belgium’s Brasserie Fantôme and the endearing and whimsical spirit of our friend and former colleague, Dan Suarez.
