For the week beginning Wednesday, 2 July, we’ll release three freshly packaged cans and continue to be open for our summer hours, including until 7 p.m. on Friday, July 4th. 

On Sunday, Phil will lead another Sunday Gravel Ride beginning at 10:30, and we’ll host a dog rescue adoption event! Visit our site for more information on the gravel ride route later this coming week, and see below for details on the adoption event.

Friends for Life Dog Rescue: Adoption Event

We are pleased to host the Friends For Life Dog Rescue Adoption Event here at the brewery, beginning at 11:30 a.m. They will be bringing some puppies for a meet, greet, and cuddle, along with information on fostering and adoption. 

The organization was formed in the fall of 2020 by friends mutually concerned about having a dog rescue organization in the Northeast Kingdom that offered not just rescue for unwanted or at-risk dogs but also options like safe homes for “time out,” education, training, and links to resources that might allow a dog to remain with their owners. FoLDR is avidly against euthanasia for pets unless, of course, medically necessary, and relies instead on a foster home system for both short-term and adoption processes.  They also have many formal relationships with local veterinarians and training resources.
