Self-Reliance: Nelson Sauvin
This coming week, we will release the next entry in our reimagined Self-Reliance series of Farmsteadยฎ single hop India pale ales: Nelson Sauvin. This batch was brewed and dry-hopped with personally selected Nelson Sauvin hops from Freestyle Farmsโour agricultural partner in Upper Moutere, New Zealandโand conditioned in oak barrels for nearly 8 months.
This series allows us to showcase each hopโs characteristics within the framework of our delicately tart, lightly effervescent base beer.
Civil Disobedience #28
We will also introduce the next in our series of blended barrel-aged Farmsteadยฎ Ales: Civil Disobedience #28.
As is our tradition, every fourth batch of Civil Disobedience falls on the darker end of the spectrum, and this one is no different. Blended and packaged in June 2018, this batch is highlighted by Edith (our dark Farmsteadยฎ ale), which was aged for more than a year in port barrels that once held Prolegomena, as well as a single barrel of Phenomenology of Spirit aged in a Bourbon barrel for nearly a year that previously held our Bourbon barrel-aged maple syrup.
Visit our Retail Shop page for bottle limits and pricing information (credit card and matching ID required).
We will have full selection of bottlesโincluding Beyond Good and Evilโas well as fresh cans ofย Double Citra, and the return of both Susan and Abner for growlers!
