For the Week of 23-25 September 2020

This coming week, we’ll release a new iteration of Anna Valiquette, our honey Farmstead® ale conditioned on fruit pomace, as well as a new batch of Brother Soigne: Gin Barrel-Aged. This week also sees the return of Edward and Mosaic Single Hop IPA cans alongside our onhand line-up of Everett, Mary, Legitimacy, Riwaka Single Hop Pale Ale, Society & Solitude #5, and Double Galaxy!

Anna Valiquette

Anna Valiquette Hill (1902-1993) was Edward’s older sister, whose memory we honor with her namesake Farmstead® ale crafted with Vermont wildflower honey. A few barrels of the beer that had aged more than four months were further conditioned atop red raspberry and blackberry pomace, along with fresh black currant juice for nearly three months. The result showcases each fruit’s essence in harmony within the canvas of the iconic base beer—a variant worthy of her graceful, distinctive middle name.

Brother Soigne: Gin Barrel-Aged

Long ago, our friend Luc “Bim” Lafontaine traveled from Japan to brew with us an ale of mixed fermentation that would become Brother Soigné. We continue to brew that beer and aged a portion of it in gin barrels from Caledonia Spirits in Montpelier, Vt. This ale embodies the spirit of perpetual creative collaboration in conjunction with disciplined brewing endeavor.

Our retail page has complete curbside ordering information.
