After years of seeking viable refrigerated transportation for sharing our beers in Maine, we’re pleased to announce that our beer will be available from time to time around Portland and beyond—beginning this month.

To debut our arrival, we will launch Hill Farmstead Brewery in Maine with two old friends and extensive draft offerings:

• Friday, 16 February, starting at 5 p.m., with Rick Binet at Mash Tun
• Saturday, 17 February, starting at 6 p.m., with Wade Ritchey at Lambs

Before moving to Portland, Rick Binet owned Blackback Pub & Fly Shop in Waterbury, Vt. He has been a longtime friend and supporter of our brewery and was one of our earliest draft accounts. He frequently visited us at the brewery, including helping at festivals and hosting events at Blackback.

Wade Ritchey’s connection to Hill Farmstead is genuinely unique. In the summer of 2012, as a student at UMASS, he lived in a tent by our little pond all summer as an intern! Over the years, Wade has been connected with us in wonderful ways, from volunteering for events to custom Wadecats artwork on random inbound shipments. He’s always been a part of the brewery.

There will also be a few other locations around Portland with draft beer around Portland that weekend, and then occasional appearances afterward. We look forward to seeing so many of our Maine friends for these two special evenings!
