This coming week, we will make available to-go Ann: Double Honey. Please read below for details of the release. We will also have freshly packaged cans of Dharma Bum (our Simcoe® IPA) and Double Riwaka. Smokin’ Joe’s will be our food truck on-site Friday and Saturday.

Ann: Double Honey

When Anna has become Ann, it is identified only through the visceral, emotional response induced during careful and constant evaluation. This unpredictable unfolding—with hopeful, observed intention—parallels our own journey, both within and without, towards an elevational existence and perpetual upward directedness.

Ann is the wine barrel fermented and aged version of Anna (1902-1993), Edward’s sister, and the name of our Farmstead® honey ale. This exploration was created in April 2016 with twice the typical amount of Vermont wildflower honey, patiently rested in wine barrels, and benefitted from extended bottle conditioning of over seven years.

For this limited release, we will make it available in two ways: in our bottle shop and also via Tock. 

Second, we will use Tock for a lottery-style sale. You may buy a single entry for $2 (all proceeds benefit Green Mountain Farm-to-School). Entry opens on 5 June at 10 a.m. EST and closes on 6 June at 10 a.m. (http://www.exploretock.com/hillfarmsteadbrewery). Entries will be randomized and drawn, and winners will be notified at noon on 6 June. The completed purchase takes place at our bottle shop, not online.

The pick-up window for these bottles is 12 June (Anna’s birthday) through 6 July. Proxies are allowed, and winners must email [email protected] with their change request.

Guests may also enjoy it in our taproom by the glass pour throughout this coming week.
