Retail Update for 29 May 2024
Self-Reliance: Citra Orange Bitters • Harlan • Double Galaxy • Food Truck Schedule
Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate the 14th anniversary—a wonderful week of familiar faces, pollen-coated fingers, and wonderful weather! We’re grateful for everyone’s enthusiasm and patience, and we sincerely appreciate all the folks who joined us for the largest harvest of dandelions in the brewery’s history!
For the post-holiday week, we’ll debut a new arrival in our Self-Reliance collection, along with freshly packaged cans of Harlan and Double Galaxy.
Smokin’ Joe’s will be our food truck on-site Friday and Saturday of this week, so if you’re joining us Wednesday and Thursday, feel free to bring a picnic lunch (or a pizza!). They will join us most weeks going forward, with a rotating monthly menu. They’ll be with us Friday and Saturday, through 6/15, and then Weds. through Saturday beginning 6/19. We’ll have a few other food vendors interspersed throughout the summer, and we’ll keep you posted on those!
Self-Reliance: Citra Orange Bitters
This novel variation of our Farmstead® single-hop India pale ales was brewed in August 2023, conditioned in Orange Bitters barrels for two months, and dry-hopped with hand-selected Citra® from Washington’s Yakima Valley.
Ralph Waldo Emerson’s essay “Self-Reliance” inspires and compels our persistent reflection, examination, and refinement. You may find copies of Emerson’s works, including this essay, available for sale in our retail bottle shop, but it is available for free download or to read in place at https://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Essays:_First_Series/Self-Reliance.
Check our website for complete offerings for bottles and cans in the coming days!
