Sunday Gravel Rides Are Back!

Retail Updates for 1 October 2025

Difference & Repetition: HBC 586/Motueka/Simcoe® • Double Nelson (Southlands) • Earl • Sunday Gravel Ride

Autumn is upon us here in the Northeast Kingdom, and a perfect time for a visit to see the colors shift and the seasons change—and maybe join Phil for a Sunday Gravel Ride! For the coming week, we will introduce two brand new canned offerings, as well as an old favorite, just in time for cooler nights.

Our food truck this week will be MexiRico Áuthenico from Wednesday through Saturday.

Difference & Repetition: HBC 586/Motueka/Simcoe®

This series has provided an opportunity to explore different hop combinations—each paired with Simcoe®. It’s been a little bit since we offered a new blend, and this one features one of our favorite experimental hops, Hop Breeding Company’s HBC 586, in combination with personally selected Motueka hops grown by our agricultural partners at Freestyle Hops in Upper Moutere, New Zealand.

Double Nelson (Southlands)

This unique release of one of our most popular Double IPAs features Nelson Sauvin grown at Garston Hops. At a latitude of 45°28’9″S and in the Southland district of New Zealand, they are located 50km south of Queenstown and 900km (nearly 600 miles) south of the Upper Moutere hop growing region that defines the expression of our New Zealand hopped beers.

Shaun visited this young farm in February 2021 and found promise in the distinctly different expression of their growing region.

Phil will lead another Sunday Gravel Ride at 10:30 a.m. on 5 October. For information, visit https://hillfarmstead.com/sunday-gravel-ride-series/.
