Following on the heels of this year’s Czech Saaz sensory with Bohemia Hops, we’ll see the return of Self-Reliance featuring our selections from last year’s Saaz harvest. We will also have three newly packaged cans: Of First & Last Things (IPA), Society & Solitude #9 (DIPA), and Rhetorica (Czech-style Dark Lager). 

Self-Reliance: Czech Saaz

Each year, we’re fortunate enough to participate in hop selection with Bohemia Hops to choose the Saaz hops that best fit our beers and represent that “classic” Saaz profile. In 2024, we selected two hop lots and chose one to feature in this presentation of Self-Reliance, our India Pale Farmstead® ale.

This was brewed in October of 2024; generously hopped with our selected Saaz sourced from the Czech Republic; and aged in oak puncheons for three months prior to bottling. Please consume within six months for best experience.

Ralph Waldo Emerson’s essay “Self-Reliance” continues to inspire and compel us to engage in the perennial introspection, which is to reflect, examine, and refine. 

Fresh Cans:

• Of First & Last Things – American IPA brewed with hand-selected Simcoe®, Motueka™, and Nelson Sauvin hops.
• Society & Solitude #9 – American Double IPA brewed with Amarillo®, Motueka, and Nelson Sauvin hops.
• Rhetorica – Our single-decocted Czech-style dark lager, conditioned for three months and naturally carbonated via krausen.
