Releases for 17 July 2019
Sue โข Excursions: Triumph
Sue
This coming Weds., 17 July, we will release a new batch of our bright, citrusy, and beautiful Farmsteadยฎ India pale ale, Sue, the wine barrel-aged version of Susan (1891-1975). To honor her legacy, we aged Susan for nearly a year in French oak wine barrels with our resident microflora, allowing it to develop and evolve into its current manifestation: a complex, lightly tart, dry-hopped Farmsteadยฎ ale. We then copiously dry-hopped the beer with hand-selected Simcoeยฎ and Citraยฎ from the most recent harvest year prior to bottle conditioning.
Visit our Retail Shop page for bottle limits and pricing information (credit card and matching ID required).
Excursions: Triumph
In our ongoing exploration of new and experimental hop varieties, we will debut Excursions: Triumph this week in our tasting room for growler fills and onsite enjoyment.
Triumph is a new public hop variety developed by the USDA Hop Breeding & Genetics program at Corvallis, Ore., who’s pedigree includes Nugget, Brewers Gold, East Kent Goldings, and Hallertau Mittelfrรผh. We look forward to your feedback!
Also look for fresh cans of Riwaka IPA and Double Citra to-go; some Civil Disobedience #25 remains for this coming week as well. Bobber’s Seafood will be onsite this week as our food truck. As always, check the Taproom and Retail Shop pagesย for fully updated offerings!
