Retail Update and Holiday Wishes for 23 December 2023
Happy Holidays from Hill Farmstead!
As another extraordinary year comes to a close, we are grateful for your continuing positive support, both for Hill Farmstead and our local community. The outpouring of support, especially this summer, allows us to look forward with an optimistic eye toward the coming year. Our team extends its warmest wishes of peace and solace—today, every day, and beyond.
In the coming week, we’ll refresh our can and draft offerings with Of First & Last Things, Difference & Repetition Citra®/Mosaic/Simcoe®, and Abner, and we’ll also release a new emergence of Wheat Blanc, this time in 375ml bottles. Clover has sold out, and we thank so many of you for visiting us these last two weeks.
Wheat Blanc
In our continued exploration of Farmstead® ales within various contexts and processes, we present a lively, delicately tart, wine barrel-conditioned ale with a grist bill comprised of 90% organically grown wheat and 10% organically grown barley. This release was blended from a diversity of 9 to 16-month barrels and hopped with hand-selected Motueka hops from Freestyle Farm-our agricultural partner, in Upper Moutere, New Zealand-and hand-selected Hallertauer Blanc hops from Seitz Farm-our agricultural partner in Wolnzach, Germany.
Our bottle selection remains varied and deep, including Anna, Arthur, Brother Soigné, Florence, Charlie, Charlie: Raspberry, Clara, Raspberry: 2022 Harvest, Self-Reliance: Motueka, Table Dorothy, One Upon a Time in Denmark… Breakfast Stout, and One Upon a Time in Denmark… Southward.
May this holiday season afford each of us the opportunity to spend time with our loved ones, finding moments of peace and joy in simple, meaningful exchanges.
Warmest wishes,
The Hill Farmstead Team
