Retail Update for 12 March 2025
Sankt 2015 • Florence: Puncheon • Amarillo IPA • Double Riwaka
Back into winter again here in Greensboro (classic Northeast Kingdom!), but Boris here has some spring-like offerings to brighten your visit! A beer 10 years in the making arrives this week, as well as another batch of our wheat Farmstead® ale aged in puncheons, along with two freshly packaged can offerings.
Also, a reminder that tickets for our Harvest Festival of Lagers and Ales go on sale Thursday, 13 March, at noon.
Sankt 2015
Since June 2012, Sankt Hans has been a recurring member of our Farmstead® ale family. The wine barrel-aged version has contributed to some of our favorite blends in the Civil Disobedience series.
This beer was brewed and placed into barrels in December of 2015. After nearly two years in oak, a refined, uniquely expressive version of Sankt Hans emerged. Following more than eight years of bottle conditioning, wherein we closely and carefully monitored its progression, we hope that you might enjoy one of our favorite blending beers in its singular state at the pinnacle of its expression.
Florence: Puncheon
Honoring Edward’s sister, this version of her namesake beer was aged for more than a year in our 500-liter puncheons and then rested yet another year in bottle in its journey toward a refined, elegant variation of the original—not quite Florence, not quite Flora, but magical all the same.
Canned Offerings
For the coming week, along with Amarillo IPA and Double Riwaka, our can coolers are stocked with a selection that includes Motueka Pale (Pale Ale), Legitimacy (IPA), Difference & Repetition: Hallertau Blanc/Simcoe® (IPA), Three Magic Letters (IPA), Double Citra (DIPA), Society & Solitude #3 and #7 (DIPAs), George (Brown Ale), Marie (German-style Helles), and Mary (German-style Pilsner).
