Retail Update for 18 January 2023
Ann Continues • Fear & Trembling • Mary • Harlan
Our sale of Ann via Toast for same-day pick-up continues this week; Fear & Trembling, our smoked Baltic-style porter, returns to our retail shop; and we’ll restock our can coolers and draft lines with freshly packaged Mary, our German-style lager brewed with organic malted barley, and Harlan, our IPA copiously dry-hopped with Columbus, Simcoe®, and a touch of Nelson Sauvin.
Once again this coming week, we will allocate bottles of Ann each retail day for online ordering (same-day pick-up only) via our Toast webshop, beginning at 7 a.m. Each 750ml waxed bottle is limited to one (1) bottle per person for the entirety of the release. Also, glass pours of Ann will continue in our taproom each retail day through 4 February, with no reservations required.
Fear & Trembling
Fear and Trembling is a Baltic-style porter brewed with European smoked malt, first brewed in 2010 with our friend and former colleague, Anders Kissmeyer. This edition was fermented in the traditional way, with lager yeast, and conditioned in stainless steel. As a student of philosophy and former resident of Copenhagen, it seemed fitting to name our first brewing collaboration—the fourth batch brewed in our brewery—after Denmark’s great thinker: Søren Kierkegaard. Anders, Shaun, and Søren—all three contemplated absurdity, faith, and salvation while wandering the shores of the Baltic Sea…
Our retail shop will also have available Genealogy of Morals: Vista Hermosa Sarchimor; Plum: 2021 Harvest; Convivial Suarez; Dorothy; as well as a number of curated guest bottles.
The canned offerings for takeaway will include…
- Mary – German-style lager with organic malted barley
- Harlan – IPA with Columbus, Simcoe®, and Nelson Sauvin
- Of First & Last Things – IPA brewed with Simcoe®, Motueka™, and Nelson Sauvin
- George – Classic American Brown Ale
- Song of Winter – Rich chocolate stout brewed with an abundant addition of fresh cacao nibs
- Society & Solitude #2 – Imperial Black India Pale Ale.
