The Week of August 19

Charlie • What is Enlightenment • Excursions: Manilita • Double Citra • Mary

Our faithful, cheerful Charlie considered all of Hill Road his domain and everyone along it part of his family. No matter the season, he would make his way across the field to the brewery, arriving with a wagging tail and the cheerful diligence of someone reporting for work.

We remember his spirit with a namesake beer that reflects his levity, ebullience, and casual sense of comfort. At just 2% abv, this foudre-conditioned Farmstead® ale is light and lively, with delicate acidity and vibrant aromatics.

Each bottle is graced by a wonderfully artful representation of Charlie by Natalya Zahn, our lifelong friend and wonderfully accomplished and skilled illustrator.

To the golden lad of Hill Road…
