Anna: Montmorency

In our ongoing endeavor to showcase various fruits within the tapestry of our Farmstead® ales, we offer this new variant of her namesake beer. We selected a few wine barrels of Anna and conditioned the beer for more than two months on Montmorency cherries from Burtt’s Orchard in Cabot, Vt. The result is a complex, elegant expression of the 2019 Vermont harvest.

Leaves of Grass: December 30, 2016

Our Leaves of Grass series represents our collective pursuit to create, explore, and expand our often boundaried understanding of beer and fermentation. This particular Farmstead® ale was brewed with American and European malt, organic oats, organic spelt, an assortment of apple varieties from Elmore Roots in Elmore, Vt., and aged in oak puncheons. We have observed and learned from this beer’s development of nuanced aromatic and flavor compounds. Extended bottle conditioning of more than three years has led this beer to a pleasantly and wholly unexpected place. The transitional nature of a beer’s journey in the bottle seems to recurringly present us with an unimagined gift.

Self-Reliance: Vic Secret

Our family of Farmstead® single-hop India pale ales continues to grow with a new iteration featuring Vic Secret hops, sourced from Australia. Following suit with previous Self-Reliance entries, this release was aged in our puncheons for over four months prior to bottling and dry-hopped prior to packaging.

Harlan and Double Citra

Since May of 2010, Harlan has made frequent appearances on tap; now, this IPA makes its first appearance in cans. Harlan has always been Edward’s slightly more aggressive alter-ego: an American India Pale Ale copiously dry-hopped with Columbus, Simcoe®, Chinook, and a hint of Nelson Sauvin hops.

A fresh batch of Double Citra 12-ounce cans will also be available for curbside ordering.
