Phenomenology of Spirit โ€ข New Cans

This coming week in our bottle shop, Phenomenology of Spirit will make its return after several years, and we will have cans of Edward, our American Pale Ale; Harlan, Edwardโ€™s slightly more assertive alter-ego American India Pale Ale; and Marie, our German-style Helles brewed with organic malts.

Our first collaborative Farmsteadยฎ ale, the origin of Phenomenology of Spirit dates back to our beginnings in 2010. Since that time, each batch of this beer has taken various paths and explored different techniques in order to reach a new representation of the form: a complex, dark Farmsteadยฎ ale with restrained, balanced acidity. This 2021 adaptation achieved its recognition following a year-long period of becoming in second-use Port wine barrels with our resident microflora.

Please consider visiting, if even for a few pages, G.W.F Hegel’s Phenomenology of Spirit (published in 1807 and available to read free online at https://archive.org/details/phenomenology-of-spirit-g-w-f-hegel). While we might too often find ourselves inextricably tethered, we might pause to consider this moment and this conscious offering.

Along with this new release and our freshly packaged cans, our other bottled offerings will include, amongst many, Charlie; Madness & Civilization #14; and Raspberry Harvest 2020.

Also, this coming week, we will be working on reservations plans for late November and early December, as well as our Thanksgiving week schedule. Weโ€™re grateful for your patience and support.
