Retail Update for 15 February 2023

Nonconformist 06 • Clover • Song of Winter • Of First & Last Things

This week, we welcome the arrival of a new, sixth entry in our exploratory Farmstead® ale collection, Nonconformist, as well as cans and draft of Song of Winter, our chocolate stout, and Of First & Last Things, our IPA with Motueka™, Nelson Sauvin, and Simcoe®. Clover will again be available for takeaway and enjoyment in our taproom.

Nonconformist 06

Nonconformist 06 is a delightfully unique medley of dry-hopped Farmstead® ales aged in oak barrels and conditioned on various fruits. Wine barrel-aged Anna, Arthur, and Self-Reliance: Chinook were threaded and rested atop yellow raspberries, red raspberries, black raspberries, and blackberries from nearby Elmore Roots Farm. Following four months of fruit contact, the beer was dry-hopped with personally-selected Motueka™ and Simcoe® hops.

This series provides us a playful opportunity to share a wide-ranging assortment of blended beers, exploratory aging techniques, and distinctive ingredient pairings, with imaginative artwork by our lifelong friend and collaborator, Alex Peltz of Peltz Creative.

Clover

Clover will again be available for takeaway and enjoyment in our taproom. Each retail day, beginning at 8 a.m., our Toast online store will go live (toasttab.com/hillfarmstead/), through which you can place your order for Clover and any other items available in the shop (same-day pick-up only).

Song of Winter and Of First & Last Things

Song of Winter is our seasonally demarcated chocolate stout featuring fresh cacao nibs sourced and processed by Colombia’s Tibito Chocolate and imported by Maine’s In situ Food Co. Of First & Last Things is our IPA brewed with hand-selected Motueka™ and Nelson Sauvin from our agricultural partner Freestyle Hops in New Zealand, as well as our 2022 selection of Simcoe® hops from Yakima Valley Hops.

Visit our Retail Shop and Taproom pages for more details and an updated list of drafts, bottles, and cans, including selections to enjoy in our taproom by the glass.
