Our contactless curbside retail operation continues this coming week. Pick-ups will be open for Weds. through Fri. 11 – 5, as well as Saturday, 11 – 4. We will release two new to-go offerings and Society & Solitude #2 growlers to accompany our current selection that includes Anna Plum; Self-Reliance: Citra®; Sankt Hans; Fear & Trembling; Barrel-Aged Dorothy; Leaves of Grass: Dec. 30, 2016; and Bourbon Barrel-Aged Maple Syrup.

Self-Reliance: HBC 586

Our continuing Self-Reliance series of Farmstead® single-hop India pale ales provides us a setting in which to explore the interplay between our Farmstead® ale yeast and various hops, including experimental varieties.

This new release was brewed in early April 2020, conditioned in our puncheons for nearly five months, and hopped exclusively with HBC 586. This experimental hop cultivar, developed by the Hop Breeding Co., is perhaps our favorite HBC varietal in the last eight years—since the release of Mosaic (HBC 369).

Return of Abner

A fresh canning run of Abner, our Ancestral Double IPA, will be available this coming week. Our can offerings will also include our batch of Edward brewed entirely with hops selected by Vinnie Cilurzo of Russian River Brewing; Susan, our Ancestral IPA; and Twilight of the Idols, our holiday porter.

Society & Solitude #2

We will also offer 750ml growlers of Society & Solitude #2, our imperial black IPA. In the spirit of James, this robust, dark ale is hopped with Simcoe and Columbus—highlighted by subtle roasty notes and soft, pleasurable carbonation. This is available with new glass only (no refills available).
